Okay well here’s a hello to everyone who made it to my blog. To give you an idea, no I am not going to be writing about something in particular in my blogs, it’s going to be anything and everything. The topics could literally range from food, education, work, future, maybe a conspiracy theory I came up with annnnndddd sometimes maybe even a sly attempt at getting back at someone who tries to go all Regina George at me someday.
But then again, today is about an obstacle race. An obstacle race everyone runs. And guess what? They themselves get to decide whether they are going to win or not and the obstacles are literally placed by themselves, for themselves and of…. ‘bruh wait… are you going to talk about democracy?’
Nope, not going to get into talks about politics right now, I feel there are enough ‘social modijis’ (geddit????) doing that already.
I am here to talk about how in every task we take up for ourselves there are tangible and intangible obstacles we can come across everyday. Life is an obstacle race. Yes, this might seem like something that’s been spoken about by a lot of other people already, but I have an idea about this obstacle race and a view that I wish to share with y’all.
Each day we all take up a task to do, it could be napping all day or it could be watching someone nap all day while we do the chores that we gotta do.
My idea of an obstacle is when anyone or anything tries to mess with my schedule of fulfilling the task. It could be my mother who could keep giving background commentary on how I am doing my task wrong or a friend who could say that, what I am doing is totally worthless and would get me nowhere, or the lazy devil in my head which could keep telling me to go watch ‘qualiteavideos’ on instagram (don’t get me wrong, that shit’s great, just not the task I set for myself for the day)
Now over the course of complete self contemplation and realization, I have come up with something that I am going to put into practice from now, which is blocking out simply anything that tries to get in the way of my race course or making the obstacle turn and see what my end goal is.
Obviously, not many a times will the obstacle be able to see what you’re aiming for, which is why they are called obstacles, but sometimes even on Takeshi’s Castle a slip takes you a long way (that’s the optimism in me talking)
Well, all I am here to say is that, you potentially could be your biggest obstacle, and if you’re not, “toh bhai bhaago, life is like a race, agar nahi bhagoge, toh tum khud kuchal doge apne goal ko.” ( VIRUS with a twist )
Ciao, I had a fun time, writing this, and since you made it to the end of this blog, I have a little something for you.
Here’s a beaut album I was listening to whilst writing this. I have been listening to a lot of music lately, so I am going to be nice enough to share it with my folks here, 1Moment2Another
